Know me better
FIND OUT MORE ABOUT ME
My story began when ...
In 2020 when quarantine happened, I, like most parents, wanted to get the kids out the house. I got us some sidewalk chalk to draw on the driveway. It only kept the kids attention for a little while but I was enjoying making characters and scenes for them. Neighbors seemed to enjoy them as well so I started making more interactive chalk drawings for those who liked to walk by. It was history after that.
Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about
creating yourself.
Get to know me
Aside from being a chalk artist, I'm also a mom and wife. I used to serve in the United States Air Force before becoming ill. I was diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis in 2005 which left me temporarily paralyzed from the shoulders down. My nerves are still messed up (along with other issues) and I can't make a fist with my right hand which makes writing a little difficult (and sometimes painful).
I have two awesome kiddos and two corgis.
A big goal of mine is to chalk draw at Epcot's Festival of the Arts at Walt Disney World. Other than that I just want my kids to be proud of me.
When I was little I used to love drawing. My older sister was an artist and I wanted to do what she did. I would draw all the time, specifically dogs because I was obsessed when I was a kid, haha. I had drawings submitted and featured in the kids' magazine Highlights and the mini magazine Disney Adventures. In high school I was in an honors art program. My goal was to work for Disney one day as an animator.
